Information technology is an important component of modern government. Various countries in the world is transforming itself to establish communication with the community through information technology, to provide more satisfactory services community, and imaging of a clean government, authoritative and transparent. E-Government to change the workings of government. More simply, the e-Government is an information technology system developed by the government in providing choices to people whenever and wherever they can get easy access to information and services that the government gave him. Teknologi informasi merupakan komponen penting bagi pemerintah era modern. Berbagai negara di dunia ini tengah mentransformasikan dirinya untuk membangun komunikasi dengan masyarakatnya lewat teknologi informasi, guna memberikan layanan yang lebih memuaskan masyarakat, dan mencitrakan suatu pemerintahan yang bersih, berwibawa dan transparan. E-Government mengubah cara kerja pemerintahan. Secara lebih sederhana, e-Government merupakan sistem teknologi informasi yang dikembangkan oleh pemerintah dalam memberikan pilihan kepada masyarakatnya kapan dan dimanapun mereka bisa mendapatkan kemudahan akses informasi dan layanan yang pemerintah berikan kepadanya.
